Now Stay Like That

At a recent wedding, I had this conversation:

Me: Is my makeup creasing?
My Husband: I don’t know what that means. Nick, what does “creasing” mean?
Nick: Kapeeshing?!
Me: No creasing.
Nick: I don’t know what that means.

When I finally found an answer, it was no. Melting makeup was definitely a concern when you’re at a wedding all day and most likely into the night. I applied my makeup at 8am and didn’t get home until midnight. 16 hours and no creasing! Or Kapeeshing!

The MAC Fix spray is worth every penny. And it’s only $10!

Brushes!!!

Quality brushes are just as important as quality makeup. A great brush applies makeup more evenly, gets more color payoff and saves you time when you’re trying to blend.

I constantly use the same 4 brushes for my everyday application:

MAC #217  $22.50USD

This brush is great for blending. Its a versatile brush that can be used for any shadow application.

MAC #239 $24USD

This is a flat brush excellent for shadow application on your lid and under your eye. Since its flat it can be used for detail as well.

MAC #182$47USD

This is the perfect brush for powder foundation application. Its great for blending blush for finishing touches and great for a mineral finishing product. I had tried many brushed for powder application and finally decided to splurge on this brush. Worth every penny!! My powder foundation will last longer using this brush as well. This makes an excellent gift!

The last brush is a small detail brush from craft stores. Some come in a pack or you can buy individually from the art brush display in these stores. These brushes are great for precise eye lining with powder, gel and liquid. Perfect for retro or cat eyes!
